I create objects that exist between states - between art and design, between control and instinct, between what is seen and what is felt.
My work involves diverse materials, some of which I shape by hand. The most crucial moment for me is the stage where the material is both vulnerable and nearly irreversible!
My shapes are not static.
They appear as if caught in a perfect instant - like the movement that has found its precise trajectory. What I create does not follow function.
It reimagines it.
My objects can be sculpture, jewelry, furniture, or spatial objects, but they are never what they seem. They carry presence and transform the environment they are placed in.
My inspiration comes from both contrast and absurdity during the very act of creation! The dance between discipline and the freedom of my hands. The chaos and the balance of my mind. The spontaneity and the precision of the process. The fragility and the durability of the material. The inner instinct and the outer control. The dynamic of time and the stillness of the moment. The organic beginning and the architectural end.
The moments that can never be replicated, but can be captured!
I don't seek perfection. I believe form holds power when it carries something beyond the visible.
